Doug Threatens To Kill Jake Porter

I've gotten into the habit of reading Gene's comments section, mostly because some pretty intelligent people post there, and I can see what others think of him even if they don't find this blog. As previously noted, Doug was having some kind of profane meltdown when he started calling visitors "fancy fuck sock puppet boys".

Unfortunately, it has gotten far, far worse. Doug is now threatening to kill people. No, I'm not kidding.

This problem started out with Doug Kenline insulting young Jake Phillies, who is a very intelligent and mature 18-year-old Phillies volunteer, and who also comments on Gene's blog occasionally. Jake's a nice guy, and he doesn't give Gene and Doug nearly the level of hell that most do. Still, since he's about the only Phillies volunteer who gives Gene and Doug the time of day, they go out of their way to insult him. It all came to to a head with this (which is absolutely NOT true - Jake NEVER said Gene should be in jail, he just pointed out that there really is a law which requires people to file and pay federal income taxes).

Jake Porter Believes Gene Chapman Belongs In A Prison Cell Yet Refuses To Face Gene Like A Man On His Radio Show

Let us know when you can be on the show Jake. We look forward to talking with you.

Okey-dokey. So, Doug wants to have a schoolyard fight with Jake, but he wants to have it from behind the safety of his cell phone and his computer screen. Jake may be young, but I think it's a safe bet to say that he's a lot less sissified than Doug. Not surprisingly, Jake's also not stupid enough to walk into a trap. So he predictably and politely declined, over and over again even before Doug posted the above.

Other readers of Gene's blog became upset with hearing Doug pick on an 18-year-old incessantly (hey, most people posting there probably have sons that age, since I do and I figure they're about my age), and started making comments about how Doug is picking on a kid.

Here's a sampling:
Oh, for the love of God. Enough is enough. Jake acts older than the two of you combined, and he's only 18. Both of you are nothing but an overgrown schoolyard bully hiding behind a computer screen and yelling out nasty names at people you're secretly afraid of. I hope picking on a teenage kid makes you feel like a big important man, because it makes you look petty and stupid. Real presidential, Gene. Grow the hell up.
I agree. Doug, stop attacking people. I'm gone two days, and you're waging world war. What's up with this, Doug?

Where did Jake say I belong in prison?
Gene, Jake never said you belonged in Jail.
Jake says there is a law that says Gene has to pay the income tax. Gene does not pay the income tax. Jake therefore believes that "these tax protesters" are criminals. It follows that Jake Porter believes that Gene Chapman deserves to be in prison just like Irwin Schiff. Jake is obviously happy and satisfied that Gene's preffered running mate is in prison and therefore he obviously would be happy to see Gene Chapman join Irwin Schiff in a prison cell.

The Income Tax Law

Perhaps these tax protesters would have a better argument to say they are not going to pay taxes for political beliefs.

The most basic myth of tax protestors is that there is simply no law mandating the payment of income taxes—that the whole system is “voluntary” or “optional.” Frequently one can observe anti-tax types to say something like, “if only someone would show me the laws that say that I have to file a tax return and pay taxes, I’d be happy to do it.” I have a strong suspicion that people who say that are not serious, but I’m going to take them at their word. Here are the laws that (a) impose an income tax on you, (b) require you to file an income tax return, and (c) require you to pay taxes:
Click here to read more about the law that requires you to pay an income tax.

We will read a little more:
The federal tax laws are contained in Title 26 of the United States Code, which is the compilation of laws passed by the Congress (“Title” basically means “Volume” when applied to the U.S. Code as a whole, so Title 26 is what might more casually be called Volume 26). The most important statutory provision with regard to income taxes is section one of the tax code, 26 U.S.C. § 1. This is the section that actually imposes the income tax. It’s very simply written. If you are unmarried, the relevant provision is § 1(c), which states:
And now this:
The “exemption amount” is defined in 26 U.S.C. § 151(d) as $2000, adjusted for inflation since 1989. You can see the exact amount for the current tax year in the IRS instructions to form 1040. If you have more income than this amount, section 6012 requires you to file a tax return (except that if you’re married, section 6013 gives you the option of filing a joint return with your spouse).

So there it is:

Sections 1, 61, and 63 impose the tax,
Section 6012 requires you to file a tax return if you have income of more than the exemption amount, and
Section 6151 requires you to pay the tax at the time and place fixed for the filing of your return.

By that logic, Gene Chapman believes Jake Porter should be shot and killed.

Doug, during the Chapman Revolution will you be wielding a gun? If you see Jake, would you shoot him?
And this is the same conversation that Kent McManigal was having with some lesser educated readers in his reader comments.

Gordon call killed the federal officer in self defense and I would kill Jake in self defense if he were to break into my house in the middle of the night by smashing through my window with a sharp knife in one hand and a glock in the other firing recklessly into my home in my close proximity killing my dog and threatening to kill my mother and father who happened to be visiting for the evening and I had a sawed off shotgun hanging on a rack above my bed and then the intruder started yelling out I'm going to kill you I'm going to kill every mother fucker in this house at the top of his lungs and came lunging directly at me with an insane fire in his eyes putting the infrared beame of his glock squarely on my forehead yes I would pull down my sawed off shotgun and kill the son-of-a-bitch then I'd let the buzzards eat him if I was Josey Wales and it was somewhere around 1866 in Missouri by the Missouri river.
Which may explain why Doug's only chance to reproduce involves creating a cult-like breeding program, where he is a self-declared "stallion of the brood"

The sad thing is that these aren't just kids playing around. Gene threatened to blow up a federal building, and attempted to light himself on fire next to a truck with a leaky propane tank.

At least the government is doing its job by keeping a close eye on him. That's one thing government should do, protect people like Jake from dangerous people like Gene and Doug.

I'm ashamed to have written the comment asking if Doug would shoot Jake. In my mind initially, I had expected a similar response to what you mention: "Of course I'm not going to shoot Jake." My intention was to point out the obvious flaw in his own logic. About 2 seconds after submitting the comment I remembered I was dealing with a mentally unstable person.

I'm sorry Jake. That entire thread went way further than I would be comfortable with. I can only hope that there really is an FBI agent monitoring Gene and his site. The last thing I wanted to do was egg on a mad man.

This is exactly why I would NEVER post on Gene's site using my real name.

On this subject, I'm beginning to believe that Doug is more dangerous than Gene. Gene is dangerous because he is an idiot and delusional. However, it does not seem like he intends to hurt others. Doug seems far more violent. I'm afraid of what will happen when the cops show up at his door the next time he decides to pick a fight with the IRS.

Thanks for your support.

Anon,

That is no problem. I was reading the comments and I figured Doug was going to say that he would not kill me. The fact that he did not say that he would not kill me is very disturbing and I am very happy that I now know this information. Doug probably had these opinions a long time before you asked the question. The fact that his opinions are out in the open is good for everyone to know.

While his comments were very disgusting, I don’t believe he actually intends to do any harm to me. That being said, I will defend myself if I need to.

Jake, I think it would be a good idea if you let the FBI know about this. Better safe than sorry. Besides, you know Gene would complain to the FBI about you for far less, just like he did to Frank Buckner simply for making a joke (years before the complaint was made) about being a satanist.

Hmm, since I've been banned, I don't make as many visits to the cuckoo blog and I didn't see this exchange at all.

I think that Doug being forced to comply with the IRS because he didn't have the fortitude to risk jail time, really messed with what was left of his mind.

What you're seeing is a person that despises the fact that he's a coward and retreats into fantasy of being a "Josey Wales" to forget that he's - well, Doug Kenline.

Of course that's just my opinion.
